Connecting schools
Why should schools join REANNZ? Because doing so will give you access to our advanced network, which we operate in ways that are meaningfully different from how traditional telcos operate theirs.

Fast and unconstrained broadband
Your membership will give you access to super fast, unrestricted broadband connecting you to national and international research and education institutes. Most other schools have up to a 10Mb/s connection. Access to our network will usually give at least a 100Mb/s connection. There are no usage-based charges or data caps; you're encouraged to use as much as you want.
Dependability
Our network gives reliable, smooth and consistent performance as traffic travels quickly between points without delay.
Typically, our network is available 99.9% of the time.
Quality
It’s like going from black and white TV to Sky HD TV. This makes a real difference when using high definition video conferencing, streaming video or when a number of classes want to access data intensive services at the same time.

At the moment, the best way to join the REANNZ community is to purchase one of the products offered by our trusted suppliers. These products have been "approved" by REANNZ and include REANNZ membership and access as well as commodity Internet.
