News and Events Amber McEwen presents on REANNZ-NeSI integration at eResearch conference Chief Executive Amber McEwen outlined 'A future for publicly funded eResearch infrastructure in New Zealand' at the eResearch NZ / eRangahau Aotearoa, today. In her presentation she outlined the work that is currently underway to integrate services offered by NeSI into REANNZ to create a hub for eResearch infrastructure in New Zealand. "We see this as an exciting opportunity to consolidate and strengthen eResearch infrastructure and to better support the research, education and innovation sectors to deliver quality outcomes," she said. People from across the NeSI collaborators and REANNZ are co-designing the transition, with a target date of 1 July 2025. "From there, we’ll be focused on developing our new strategy with the integrated team and the broader sector to achieve the goals of maximising the impact of current investment and achieving greater national reach."
