News and Events REANNZ Connect 2020 Date: 11 February 2020, 10:00am - 5:00pmLocation: Room HU G30B, Hunter Centre Great King Street, North Dunedin Dunedin, 9016To kick start eResearch 2020 REANNZ would like to invite our members to join us in Dunedin on the 11 February for REANNZ Connect.REANNZ Connect will be a workshop style event the day before eResearch NZ 2020, bringing together network engineers, systems engineers and architects who use or operate networks across the research and education sector. This community-building event will emphasise technical collaboration, skills development and the open exchange of ideas.The aim is to provide a forum for technologists in the research and education sector to work together to solve shared problems, to help institutions make better use of the REANNZ community, promote open discussion, as well as offer opportunities for professional development and skills transfer.The day will consist of presentations from our members and some of the REANNZ team, as well as plenty of opportunity for open discussion. If participants find it valuable, we will look to continue these workshops on an annual basis.This event is free to attend and is a satellite event of eResearch NZ 2020.Programme:(Note: this programme is subject to change)Overall goal: To bring together REANNZ member’s technical and management teams for a day of information sharing and (people) networking.Outcome: To facilitate the exchange of ideas, solve shared problems and discuss how members can gain more from the REANNZ community.
