News and Events REANNZ Phase one submission to Science System Advisory Group Last week, we shared our thoughts about the future of the New Zealand science, technology and innovation (SIT) sector in a submission to the Science System Advisory Group (SSAG) as part of phase one of its consultation process. In our response, we laid out our vision for the future SIT system, as one populated with researchers working seamlessly across multiple institutions to deliver world leading eResearch. This vision is made possible by leveraging Global Research and Education Networks to federate access to existing research infrastructures, making them accessible to all. Creating a SIT system that provides universal access to global infrastructure and provides researchers with the skills to use it boosts collaboration, research and innovation - and ultimately economic growth and impact for New Zealand Inc. You can read our full submission to the SSAG here. We look forward to engaging further with the SSAG as they consider how to strengthen the science, innovation and technology sector.
