News and Events REANNZ welcomes new director REANNZ welcomes Dr Warren Williams to the Board appointed by the Associate Minister of Research, Science and Innovation, the Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall. Dr Warren Williams REANNZ Chair Janine Smith says, “We’re delighted to welcome Dr Warren Williams to the Board. Dr Williams has contributed extensively to the sector through his involvement in Vision Mātauranga and Te Mana Raraunga – Māori Data Sovereignty Network. He is also passionate about technology and brings a valuable perspective to a board with strong management, financial and governance experience.”Dr Williams has been in the ICT business and tertiary education industry for over 25 years. He is currently the CEO of 20/20 Trust that provides access and connection to digital skills and resources that empower and enable people to realise their aspirations. His governance and leadership experience includes national and regional boards, working with Māori and entrepreneurship groups, tertiary ICT advisory groups, and technology and innovation groups. He is passionate about Strategic Māori leadership and succession planning in decision-making forums, especially with rangatahi Māori and wāhine Māori.
